Over a couple of days we opened up the lab: a walk-through of the space, and sit-down interviews with our founders and our science team. Below are three short films from the shoot.

CEO Abraham Chaibi and CTO John McSpedon on why Sapho Bio exists and where it is headed. In short, they saw something in the market that was broken, and set out to fix it by making quality control for precision medicines faster and more reliable.

Dr. Bravo walks through how the work actually gets done, and what keeps the team motivated: keeping patients safe by making sure products are exactly what they say they are. As he puts it, a lot of what people are using is not safe because it is not tested properly, and that is the gap we exist to close.

Sapho Bio provides quality control for precision medicines. Compounding pharmacies do not just need sterility testing, they need the full release panel done, and done fast. We built a novel method to reliably identify out of spec microbes, we are scaling across the US, and we consistently deliver a two business day turnaround for lot release testing.
