Sapho Bio Joins NVIDIA Inception to Advance Automated Quality Control

SAN CARLOS, Calif., September 28, 2026 – Sapho Bio, a third-party analytical testing laboratory currently supporting over 30 customers, today announced that it has joined NVIDIA Inception, a program that supports startups building AI and data-science solutions.

Quality control underpins every industry that makes physical products, from drugs and biologics to cosmetics, food and advanced materials. Yet most QC testing still relies on manual sample prep, hand-copied results and paper-based review. Each handoff adds time, and each operator adds variability. Sapho Bio’s goal is to automate the entire test lifecycle: robotic sample prep, instrument data flowing straight into reports, and a client portal that assigns an owner to every sample at every step.

Sapho Bio is starting with pharmaceutical release testing, including sterility, endotoxin, potency and container-closure integrity, where the demands on speed, consistency and traceability are highest. The same platform is designed to extend to any lab measurement that follows a defined method.

As an Inception member, Sapho Bio will explore NVIDIA’s robotics and simulation technologies. The aim is lab automation that adapts across assays, labware and SOPs instead of being reprogrammed for each method. That would let testing capacity grow and move into new types of measurement without adding variability or delay.
